Man, how did we not say anything about the top pick belonging to Zimmer? I guess because it said Zim13 and not James Zimmer like his message board name.

Should we let the new person pick any team that is available? They could change Arizona to something they actually want? I'd be OK with that. Although technically it would be the top 2 picks they would get, so that would be more problematic. Maybe they could change their base franchise but have to take Arizona with the top pick? That could work. That way they could have new base team for next season they may want.

That sounds good to me, Turtle. I would rather not have to take AZ if my favorite team was different. Let them have their favorite team and pair up with AZ for this one season and start fresh next year.

Looks like we got a taker, just need Godfather to weigh in on my proposal and to see what team or in this case teams MFL wants and we can get this draft going

I think the new Owner should have to stick with AZ. I think MFL agreed to take the team under that impression. Not being your favorite team is not a reason. I know when I picked my franchise, Wash. wasn't close to being my favorite team, it was the best available. Just my 2 cents.

I don’t mind keeping Arizona as my permanent team I am a yankee fan so I’m not getting them anyways and I’ll take NyMets as my second team this year out
