Third Out at Third Base..

I've complained about this before..

Baseball axiom: Never make the third out at third base.

I came out on the short end of a 1-0 game. In the top of the eighth, this occurs..

1 D.Cater 2 Double b-2 F9
1 2 J.Brandt 6 Fly Out Double Play 2-o b-0 F9

With one out, Danny Cater doubles. After Jackie Brandt flies out (2nd Out), Cater attempts to advance to third and is thrown out.

I have to admit that my running was set on Aggressive, but this is one of those times I'd want to make an exception.

That is defintely a flaw in the game engine. There are too many times when Hal wants a guy at third with 2 outs.

If it was a straight fly(rf)B (with no ?) then under rule 14.3 the guy tagging up has only a 5% chance of being thrown out. You just rolled the 20 that time.

Conversely, if no one ever attempted to get to third with two outs, it wouldn't be an adage.
