NLD 56 Game Hitting Streak

Well, that was a disaster.

First game we rolled 23/32 (72%) on the pitcher's card including 6 of 7 against Hendriks. Needless to say this was bad.

Lost game 2 on a HR by well known power hitter Fletcher. The die rolls were about 50%. We left 13 (as did Stoney) which isn't going to fly. Neither is hitting .185. Rolled 7 of 9 rolls on Hendriks card. Did I mention this is a bad idea?

Meanwhile Stoney has posted a .257/381/443 slash. Pretty obvious why we're down 0-2.

Hechavarria playing for the injured Simmons goes 3-8 for Stones. What is it with me an injury replacments playing out of their heads?

Oh well. We went 5-1 in his park during the season. Going to have to win at least two there now.

I really thought this would be a close series. Our teams are so close with runs scored, runs against and ballparks are similar. Surprised at the sweep.

You got the breaks. That's the story. Simmons hits .500. Hech .375 Perez subs and goes 2-4 with a run an RBI, Pillar hits .333. You win game 3 on a 2bx to my 2e5. We get Jones thrown out at 2b. Game 4, Simmons, perez and Pillar all single before Bohm hits a granny. Bohm, btw is weak. Your two weak hitters, Fletch and Bohm hit huge HRs for you. For some reason Hal leaves Nelson in there to get shelled. You don't have a great offensive team and you hit .274 .365 .452. Our Slash .212 .299 .358 Not too much mystery. It's a dice game.

We'll never win another NLD it appears. We've made the playoffs 23 times and have won 4. That's a pathetic playoff record.

Been really a fun season, and I now get to be in the West, AND draft 9th I believe.
Since this is only my third season, I really don't know how to do that!

Joe, disagree on the "don't have a great offensive team". We were 3rd in runs scored during the season. Not great but better than most.
