Definitely not trying to disparage your team. As I said in an earlier post, you have a fine team and there is no shame in losing to it.
But, look there was only one really good Offensive team in the league and that was toshiro. Yes, you finished third, but it was basically a four-way tie.
You had an OPS 82 points over your season average against a team with the second best ERA in the league. I would suggest that is a bit surprising. That was point, that you had some surprising players have a great series. That and your pen gave up 1 run in 12.2 IP.
But, hey, that's how SOM works. You need to get some surprises to win a series between two playoff teams. If I would have won, it would have likely been because Profar or Gardner went off against you. That didn't happen, in fact, we had only two players hit over .188. You're just not going to win when this combination of events happen.
I guess I just don't have teams that can win in the NLD playoffs. 4-23 is pretty bad.
