0-24. I’m not tanking, but I am fascinated by this as an anomaly.

2 to the 24th power is 16,777,216

Assuming all things being equal I'd say the odds of losing 24 games in a row is beyond astronomical at this point.

Wow! Polo '41 is truly an all-or-nothing park, but home/road splits for this team are completely silly.

Lockdowns At Home
RS: 124
RA: 76
OPS: .876
WHIP: 1.13

Lockdowns On For Road
RS: 58
RA: 158
OPS: .533
WHIP: 1.65

Would be nice to see the home/road rolls splits but alas

And this is just one more iteration of a team I have won with many times. Somehow, that makes it even more fascinating to me.

The irony of the adjacent thread “Roenicke goes nuts” is particularly delicious when my version has a .253 obp.

Well, that assumes the opposition has a 50 percent of winning each game. If they have a 75% chance of winning each game then the odds are 1 in 1,000 or if they have a 66% chance it's 1 in 25,000. A 60 percent chance would be 1 in 250,000. I think. Im sure there are math geeks who could check that.

Tonight's the night...

The lowly Buzzcocks on the menu... and their awesome 8-13 home record...

If you don't get your 1st away win tonight... you might well be on your way to... lol...

Reminds me of when I had my 21 game losing streak... after a while it became an ongoing joke and I was rooting for it to keep going...

I was kind of sad when it ended... lol...

Talk about masochism...

Yes, sadly/thankfully, the road losing streak ended at 24. The Lockdowns are now 2-25 on the road after taking two of three from a team that must be looking hard at the mirror.
