New record perhaps?

PostMon Jul 12, 2021 9:28 am

Ed Seward gave up 14 runs in the 1st inning. He actually stayed in for 3 more innings while only giving up 1 more run.

I gotta think that's the most I have ever had a starter give up, can anyone top it?

I should probably let ScumbyJr tell you about this game. It was his team/pitcher in this link:

HOLY %$#*!!!

Technically I still had a worse first inning, but that was awful

That is Chicks dig the long ball. Mine was Barnstormers. Kinda glad I ended up not signing up for the last version of that home run derby. I thought about it.

Dreat game for batting coaches and hitters' personal stats... :D :D

Not so much for pitching coaches and pitchers' stats...

Biggest score and number of hits I've ever seen...

I suffered a 32-5 romp once...

BUT THIS !!!

SIMPLY INCREDIBLE !!!

I thought it was a special league... but still...

And remarkably in that game Ernie Banks was the only one without a RBI on the winner's side...

Believe it or not, we've actually had a no-hitter thrown in one of these leagues. Doc Medich (1982) threw it against a lineup similar to the ones in the previous link.

You guys really ought to consider joining these leagues. They are a load of fun. There is one available to join right now. Really, come try it. You get to learn a whole new set of players (pitchers under 1 mil) that you will never really use any other way.
