I'm honestly fine either way. If we are going to do a "short" live draft, I'd think we'd be looking at a Friday or Saturday night.

I'm going to hold off on my vote for a while. My concern is that at least one manager won't be available for a quick draft. The queue system seems to allow an infinite number of players in a queue but you max out at 5 players actual picks per queue. So, by missing out on the draft, the missing manager can only handpick a maximum of 15 players and the computer will pick the rest. That's a competitive disadvantage. A quick draft which would be fun and I would vote for it if everyone can participate. However, if there is a manager that is legitimately unable to participate in a quick draft, then, for the sake of fairness, I hope we will reconsider the quick draft and move to a slow live draft. I'm self-employed and work all hours and can be free almost anytime, but many people lack that freedom.

Franky raises a good point - the "fast" pick options are assuming all 12 owners can come to an agreement on a day/time for the draft. If not, we may have to reconsider the way the draft is done for the sake of fairness.

I have done 300+ live drafts using strat app, 120 second picks = 2 hours, 90 second picks = hour and half, 60 second picks iv seen drafts get done in an hour.

given the alternative with these long pick (1 hour plus) AND how long it will take to decide on when and how, I see this going on for days/weeks.

I HOPE everyone can agree on a 90 minute window we can meet to knock this out and start asap....even me with a job

90 minute window a lot easier to hit than a week of bickering???

For the love of all that is wholly, stop throwing wrenches, stop manipulating votes, stop trying to get everyone to vote for the "things" you want.

I hate that I have to post anything more than my vote, but this is just getting obscene.....it is not a "good point" it is lazy to think 12 people cant find a 90 minute window given it happens many times a week on this site for leagues.

As a general rule I'm not available for the "live fast" draft 9am-2 pm eastern time Mon-Fri. Those are my duplicate bridge days/hours. Most evenings and weekends should work with sufficient notice.

90sec, 120sec, 3hrs. I've got no problem any way we do this even on the boards. Right now I only have commitments for this Sunday night at 7:00 central and Wednesday the 18th at 6:00. I doubt this will be done in the morning but Tuesday and Wednesday mornings are booked until October.

Anytime post 5 pm CST, I will have no problem with. I still may be able to make earlier times work but I will have to check.
