Per usual, the ratings for 100 mil leagues are close. I have teams ranked between 2 and 8 with the exception of one team so that tells you.

Ratings say:
East - Spider and KLX in a close race. With Big A hanging on the fringes maybe and Dale not having a chance (to be fair, his current team is -6 mil so...)

Central - Semper is the hands down best rated team in this division. The other three are close to each other but the ratings wouldn't expect them to be all that close to Semper barring big one run win differential.

West - JTJ and Stoney are the two best rated teams in the league. Randal would be expected to be in the WC race but Hawk would not be expected to be in the running in this tough division.

Actual Situation
East - KLX is running away with it. Surprising that Spider is below .500 with a -50 Run Dif. He is underperforming his ratings across the board however. Not surprising the Big A and Dale aren't close.

Central - Semp *is* in first, but it's surprising that Jeep is so close and sporting a -10 one run record. His fielding is terrible which has a big effect on his rating. That must not be hurting him. toshiro and Miller and not surprising to the ratings.

West - An impossibly close race with all four teams in the race. Hawk's rating was definitely affected by his moves which left him -3 mil on the cap.

Still, most of the teams are pretty good as it's a lot harder to be bad with $100 mil to play with.

The West is a beast with ratings, on average, 300 better than the next closest division! (Just my luck)

Central has the best hitting and the worst fielding. Best pitching is in the West and the Best D in the East.

The ratings are close overall. Big A is the farthest from the expectation and Hawk is the biggest over performer by a lot. Randal and Jeep are somewhat over also.

On the defensive side Jeep and Randal way over with Hawk over also. Spider and Toshiro are a little bit low.

It's clear Spider needs to hire a new GM! Kershaw and Nola seem to get a kick out of challenging the hitters - it's not working! (staff is down 54 in HRs) After Bass, my relievers suck. Iglesias is fielding OK, but I'm not paying him to field!

Joe, thanks again for the ratings. It's one of the nice benefits (in addition to great competition) of being part of the NLD.

Thx, Joe! Have been waiting to see this, was curious what the ratings said about our squad. Was hard to fight the urge to change the team up, I know that lowers them. Thought we may be rated a little better than we are.

Never fails. I post the ratings and then tank. Got swept by the team with the worst record in the league. Both with blown saves in the bottom of the 9th. We finish 5-7 versus the Centurions. Ugh.

Left 22 on in the first two games, losing by 1 and 2 runs.

Thank you for doing the ratings, Joe. I agree with Keith that is one of the perks of being in this league.

And -- since my team has lost the lost the last 6 out of 9 series' (one of the three wins was the sweep of the Mowglis--- oops, was that out loud ) --- it seems the ratings are spot on that my team has been overperforming!

Although last season being rated okay, and then getting annihilated and swept out of the playoffs wasn't much fun either.

Hawk has been the luckiest so far, 17% dif on bpsis and been rolling on his cards more than anyone

Three guys have been unlucky: Stoney mostly on a horrible bphr ratio, but also more injuries than expected.
KLX - been really bad at both bp numbers
JTJ - A really bad bphr and also diff to the pythag

Pretty close as usual. KLX probably shouldn't be in a virtual tie for the best fielding, but he *does* have one of the better fielding teams.

I was only feeling unlucky for landing in the toughest division. Now I feel even more unlucky!
