.. and yup ! .. again apologies for being newer to this and not understanding all these things ..

--------

"The auto draft works this way.. If you draft Key and key is already drafted and Ron is next in line. It looks through everyone draft list to make sure Ron is not on there list if he is it moves to the next guy down and does the same thing. So the only way someone can get one of your keepers is if they put him on there draft list."

--------

"The way the auto draft works is that you get the next highest salaried person at that position NOT otherwise drafted on someone else's card."
"you can not get as a replacement player any player that is drafted on someone else's draft card."

--------

.. thanks guys ! .. i was not aware of that ggrover15 or AdamKatz .. ..

.. i appreciate it ! .. learning all this a bit as i move along .. so thank you again for the clarification on that !!

Since you are still new, we let you get Schmidt.
Not that I think any of the picks have been bad, I just think Schmidt at 9th pick is the bast value, so far.

First Keeper League for me- this is super interesting - kind of a lot of choices after the top 2 which are all pretty solid- and scooping up Schmidt 9th is pretty great value - can't wait until it gets back to me in the 2/3 turn to see who is left-

Havent been in a live draft at all in several years but I think the sweet spot is to be drafting in the 9-10 spot actually. I think there is a significant drop off in value after the firs t top 14 characters or so. I considered Schmidt but I certainly over-value Clemens. He would have been gone some time in first round anyway.
