Welcome aboard and thanks for filling out the league.

Here's the timing of the coming festivities.

In order to give all owners at least 2 days to evaluate team rosters, a randomizer to establish the draft order will be requested from the All-Time greats message board the morning of Saturday August 14th. Results will be posted here shortly thereafter and the team draft will begin. I will send a PM to the owners with the first 4 picks letting them know of their good fortune.

If you can start monitoring the board on Saturday, that would be appreciated.

Hey JJB. I did my analysis of the teams weeks ago but of course I had a head' start. Part of the analysis of my pick, though, will be based on where I'm picking. What do you think of determining the draft order this evening and starting the draft tomorrow?

The other consideration is that some people signed up for this league a while ago and it may take a while for them to realize the draft is happening. Posting the draft order sooner might get their attention. Also, if anyone won't be around on the weekend or checking the board, having the draft order earlier might give them a chance to prepare and send proxies.

Mostly, I'm just eager to get going and don't want to wait until tomorrow. Thanks for starting this league.

I wanted to ensure 1stCommand and Juiced had a chance to review the roster of the teams. I think it's a good idea to start the process so people know where they will be picking and the teams likely to be available. I'll get the randomizer run and post results.

I'll be sending the league members a PM alerting them that the festivities will begin shortly.

Do you still want people to wait until tomorrow to make their picks, or anytime? I think it's reasonable that everyone can take as long as they want to make their decision, if they want to take time to research.
