NLD History is finally posted. Sorry for the delay, usually I do it right around the draft, but just didn't get to it this time.

www.angelfire.com/games5/joethejet/NLD_History.xls (you'll have to copy/paste this, not click it)

Notes
Stoney won his SIXTH title and now has the most titles by one player. Jeep is second with five. JTJ is embarassed by only winning four out of 23 playoff appearances (17%) while Stones wins 33% of the time.
Stones is in third place total playoff appearances and has the second most as a percentage of leagues played.
JTJ has made the playoffs 2 of the last 3. He had the best record for the 12th time. Next closest is Stoney with 8.
Hawk has two appearances in a row.
Randal had his first PO appearance (in two seasons)
Fourth best record won for only the 8th time and for the first time since NLD 38 in 2015
The league had eight teams at or over .500.

Any other things you guys noticed?

On the current NLD, I won three close ones against Big A including one in 16 innings!

I've been super busy with the Alphabet League, so sorry I haven't had time for any ratings discussions, etc. Quickly glancing there were a few of the ratings that I thought under-valued my team. Antone for instance has been used strictly in relief. He has been great and makes my pen much better than was it appears on paper. I have done well to roster key reserves to help with injuries, but damn, I've really been hit with the injury bug. Seems like I have 3 reserves playing nightly. All that said, my squad isn't looking good at the moment, and I thought I'd have a better record than I do. Maybe I'm not really that good.

Yeah, I see what happened there. Should be fixed now. Let me know.

I rated your team with Antone in the pen.

Yup, the ratings assume a certain level of backup for injuries and $100 mil leagues the backups are, generally, of a higher caliber. That will certainly affected the ratings of a team like yours with one 600+ Player and four starters were a 2 injury.

The ratings say you're doing pretty good by comparison, albeit it a weak division. And, after all, you're tied for first place!

Ugh, nothing like blowing two saves, losing one in extras, when you're playing at home. :(

Ouch.

Just division games left now. We're 3 games under .500 at this point. That's gonna have to change if we have a chance here.

It’s anyone’s ballgame in the West for sure. Even division W-L are close. Best of luck to everyone finishing it out.

Ugh, lost two more one run games (now -6) one of them in extras. This sucks. Just not going to get it done if we can't come through in the clutch. Left 12 on in the extra inning loss. Had six at bats with a runner at 2nd in the 9th or extras and didn't get it done.

Gonna need to turn the one run record around here down the stretch.

I managed to squeak out two wins vs. Hawk last night, to tighten up the division even more. Yikes!

Strange occurrences though: In game 2, I scored a run in the top of the 10th to go up by one, then Bohm hits a2 out, 2 run bomb in the bottom of the 10th off of Hendricks to win it for Hawk. At first, I looked and saw it was a HR 1/Double chance, but figured his guy would score from first anyway, so it would have at least be a tie -- but still, what luck huh?

Then dug in deeper: Apparently, Hendricks' arm was falling off for the entire series! He threw three innings the last game of the prior series, and then made an appearance in each of the three games last night vs. Hawk --- picking up 2 saves and 1 ip in each of the three games. ALL games last night, he entered at F0! So, in hindsight, I was the lucky one that he only blew one save!

Still, have to face the Balloos...oops, Mowgli's tonight, and catcher Vazquez hurt, along with Hendricks likely being down. May be ugly, and give JTJ the chance to turn his luck around in 1-run games.

Well, we *did* manage to win the one, one run game (and in extras too!) and didn't face Hendriks until the final game, which you won 6-4, but Hendriks had to surivive a clutch popout by Grishm with the tying run at second to end the game!

Definitely tough luck on the HR to Hawk. Ouch.

After watching Hendricks in the Field of Dreams game, I think he is shellshocked!

I can't see any of our four teams pulling away. This will be a last week of the season finish, or even last night.
