Wow. We somehow two in Hawk's place and we left 12 on in our 3-1 loss. Of course, he left 10 on in the 12-9 loss he suffered.

We get D'Arnaud back for the last series and Grossman for the final game. That's gotta help. I don't think Garver got a hit v a RHP in the games D'Arnaud missed.

I believe the West *could* end up in a 4-way tie! I have the individual tie breakers with Hawk (based on run diff) and Randal, but not Stoney. In the event of a 3 or 4 way tie, I have the tie breaker with Hawk no matter what, but there are too many permutations with the other two. I do know that if we win at least one game we'll make the playoffs. Our magic number with Stoney for the division lead is 3.

Not sure if Jeep has clinched, it depends on his run diff with toshiro. The play each other. Semper is eliminated.

Actually, looking in detail -- it seems my ONLY path to the playoffs is a 4 way tie. This would require my team sweeping the Mowglis tonight and Hawk taking 2/3 from Stoney.

I believe: in a 3 or 4 way tie, the FIRST tiebreaker is division record. That would go to Stoney if he wins one tonight, and he would be the division winner.

Then, it is a 3 team tie for the WC....again, reverting to division record. IF I sweep, then I would beat out Hawk and JTJ for WC.

that is the ONLY scenario where my team can make the playoffs. Therefore, I am already planning my 7th or 8th pick for next season, and looking forward to joining my pals, Spidey and Semper/Toshiro in the Central division.

The monkey wrench or the "Ape Boy ie: Mowgli" wrench in this is the 3 or 4 way tiebreakers. Division record is the first tiebreaker throwing out head to head or Run Diff. If I sweep the Mowglis tonight, then I would have a better division record. My "fear" is JTJ and I are going to get nixed from the playoffs yet again by Stoney and Hawk...so will be like last season -- or de ja vu all over again! Again...hmmmm...who should I take with the 7th/8th pick for next season.

So Randal, there is no way for Hawk and Stoney to be the playoff entrants together.

If you sweep and Hawk wins two you're in with Stoney due to the four way tie.
If you sweep and Stoney wins 2 or sweeps, you're out and it's me and Stoney.
If you sweep and Hawk wins 3 it's me and Hawk.
If I win one, or two you're out and either Stoney or Hawk are in and which team wins the division depends on their results.
If I sweep, I win the division with either Stones or Hawk the WC.
I think Hawk's only way into the playoffs is to sweep Stoney
