Now that we’re in the fourth round, I’ll share that (if my own analysis is correct), the Expos have that unenviable position of having exactly 20 franchise players. No drops allowed for them!

Having said that, they’re pretty good!

But I had exactly $4 million to make 5 FA picks!!

With the first 3 FA picks, together wilh Will Cordero, I have 4 players for whom SS is their primary position, with a combined salary of under $4 million !

Somewhere in those 20 card-years is the Expos best shortstop for 1994!!!

At least Reboulet and Howard can fill in at other positions. And Clayton and Howard are good defensively at short.

Now to fill out the rest of my starting pitcher rotation, with nickels and dimes!
