Commish Leagues—Buyer Beware

The 15% discount is nice. No credits to the winners is not nice. Makes no sense to me. My stance has not changed. I will pass.

agreed- taking away the prize makes it pointless to any regular players-
and also makes it pretty useless if it were about inviting and getting new players hooked on playing;
shame.

The "Commissioner" Leagues where one forks over the cash to buy a whole league, seems like a completely worthless waste of time and money for anyone with a functioning brain.

How generous of SOM to offer a 15% discount on something no one in their right mind wants.

Their energy would be better spent replacing the 1969 ATG players with their superadvanced cards. That at least would generate some good will from the community. Instead they prefer to attempt to ensnare the cognitively challenged with a highly dubious scam to generate revenue for themselves.

Yes, step right up and fork over a couple of hundred bucks to invite your friends and family to play - at no cost to them. Oh yeah, and they don't even bother to offer prizes!! What a brilliant way to get new blood into the online game!!

Perhaps next they will offer a 25% discount on a local bridge.

Caveat emptor indeed.

Barnstormers Event 6 rollout later this week will give them a boost. Likely you may see one just AFTER that. :lol:

Apparently he’s done it before, too. He has a 162 win team on the books already.

He must have been mad after his other team went 161-1.
