Pitcher settings

I have 4 sp9 starters. I have them set to F8. Hal has not been pulling them at F8. Should I do quick hook F8 or will that have them pulled at F9?

If you WANT them pulled at F8, then YES, set it to quick hook.

Ahoy,

You must have a hell of a bullpen!

My question is...why?

Burke, Jansen, Nathan and Hrabosky (at least everywhere except against lefty teams) are better pitchers than your starters. Personally, I would probably set all the starters to quick hook and utilize that strong bullpen more, but I think this is an interesting question about how to manage pitching staffs so I am curious as to what others have to say about this.
