BREAKING NEWS out of Cape Bear as Owners announce new Team and Stadium for the upcoming season.The team will be now known as the Cape Bear Gravediggers playing out of Tombstone Stadium in the heart of Cape Bear County. Pork "CHOPS"" Murphy will be handling the duties on the bench and General Manager duties.

Rules update

The only rule that sparked much discussion was on the salary cap, with values ranging from 90 to 120M

Unless there is major concern not yet stated, it looks like we can settle on a salary cap of $110 million as a reasonable middle ground.

If there is no significant protest, then I will update the rules to show $110 million as the cap.

INITIAL DRAFT
1) The initial draft is a 33 round live draft, the order to be determined by a randomizer run anonymously in the main Strat chat thread.
2) Selections for carded players, non-carded players, and stadiums may be posted in any of the rounds.
3) The initial draft is serpentine.
4) Draft picks in the current draft are tradeable.
5) All drafts will be conducted with no clock for the first round, a two-hour clock for rounds 2-5, a one-hour clock for rounds 6-10, and a 30-minute clock for subsequent rounds. If an owner fails to draft within the allotted time, the next person is free to make a pick. The owner who was skipped may make his/her pick at any time, choosing from the players not yet picked.
6) The clock will run 7 days per week from 10AM until 10PM in the Eastern U.S. time zone, until the draft is completed.
7) The draft will be completed online via the league's ILC chat thread. Sending proxies to the commish and/or an owner who selects after you is encouraged, both so that owners will not miss their chances at the earliest possible draft slots and so that the draft will be completed as quickly as possible.

If anyone wants to change draft positions, I have position 10 that I am willing to change.
