90's decade league -

The league will consist of 9 seasons, starting in 1991, including every year of the decade until 1999. (Season 1 – 1991, Season 2 – 1992, Season 3 – 1993…

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

A player’s eligibility is based on the years represented on his card – specifically the first and last. A player’s rookie season is the first year on his card – if their first card is pre-1991, then 1991 is their rookie season. A player’s retirement season is based on the last year on their card.

All players that have a first card (pre 1991 or 1991) will be eligible to play the first season, + All the 1M or less ...

Season 1 : There will be a live draft on the board (10 rounds- INClUDING A STADIUM)- We will need a randomizer).

Season 2 : There will be a draft (2 rounds) for all the new players that have 1992 as a first card (ranking 12-1, 1-12).

Season 3 : There will be a draft (2 rounds) for all the new players that have 1993 as a first card (ranking 12-1, 1-12)...

RESERVING PLAYERS

Teams reserve players by keeping them on their team roster. During the season, you have rights to any eligible player on your team, but once released they are available to any other team.

At the end of every season, you retain rights to all players on your roster**

***The 1M or less players will be free agents every season, with no team reserving their rights season-to-season.

Rookies not drafted will be available to any team as free agents (available through the autodraft, waivers, or free agency).

I have post for a randomizer for the draft order, that will be use for the draft 1-12, 12-1, ...

We will draft 10 rounds, 9 players and 1 stadium.

Only the available players (hitters and pitchers) could be draft. (see the list at the bottom of page 1 and top of page 2.

You can also draft players 1M and under but these players will become free agents at the end of each season.

I will create a different page only for the draft once we know the order.

THE IMPORTANT YEARS ARE THE FIRST AND THE LAST, the first is the rookie season and the last is the last season he will play.

Larkin (1990-1999), he will play all 9 seasons...

Arod will enter the league in season #6 (1996-1999).

Sandberg cards are 1990-1997, he will play the first 7 season.

After each season there will be a draft (2 rounds for rookies, 12-1, 1-12).

Season #2 all the players that have 1992 as a first card will be rookies. (I will send all managers a list)


I have made a list of all the eligible players for season 1. Page 1 at the bottom hitters, Page 2 pitchers... Evrytime a player will be pick I will put his name in RED, ... Larkin.

All the players that have pre 1990, 1990 or 1991 are available for the draft.

I assume this is a snake draft? I’m picking 11th and 14th etc?

Will the auto draft phase know who is not eligible or are we likely to get replacement players who are ineligible? Then what?
