FrankieT's Senile Overlord got the best of CassidyGT's Underachievers in seven last night:

Game 2: Underachievers win 14-10... 8 Underachievers HRs to 6 Overlord

Game 3: Overlord wins 16-0... 8 Overlord HRs

Game 4: Underachievers win 17-14... 8 Underachievers HRs to 6 Overlord

Game 5: Overlord wins 18-8... 4 Underachievers HRs to 4 Overlord

Game 6: Underachievers win 10-2... 5 Underachievers HRs to 2 Overlord

Game 7: Overlord wins 17-9... 5 Overlord HRs to 2 Underachievers

All in all:

87 Overlord runs to 66 Underachievers... 153 total runs

30 Underachievers HRs to 29 Overlord... 59 HRs

In a mere 7 games... WOW !!!

I don't think anyone loves this game more than chaberlal--it is always a fun league when he is in it--he makes it so.

When you look at both line-ups, it's a regular Home Run Derby of talent....WOW

ha. 200M of checkbook does that.
In my case, I had a great draft. Got lucky to get both Hornsby and Mantle--those guys are two first round draft picks. And then to also land Pedro as well as non-star starters with low WHIP but BP singles on their cards for Polo--was a coup.

Other teams were more skillfully constructed, including my finals opponent and division rival who won over 90 games, among others--I just had a great draft.
