The suspense is killing me. I can't wait for the new set. I hope it is between 1975- 1987. I guess 1994 wouldn't be all bad. Or even 2000-2006.

The original '69 Peterson card is now only found in the 60's game. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/39467/1660/1/60

That card is a 1L, the superadvanced is a 2L.

The hold changed from -3 to -4, and there is 1 # vs righties on the superadvanced card.

But the huge difference is 12 gba's on the superadvanced Peterson card vs none on the pre-superadvanced card.

I checked Peterson's card...could only find 7 groundballs A...

vs. lefties 5-9 and 5-10 (2b)a and 6-5 and 6-12 (1b) a

vs. righties 4-2 (3b) a and 5-6 and 5-7 (ss)a

but still what a great card...

No one else wants to take a guess of what the new/retro set will be?

Or how about this, what set/year are you hoping for?

I'm hoping for the 1979 season. My cousin and I played the heck out of those cards. The AL East was so good that year with 6 of the 7 teams finishing with winning records.

I remember the Brewers & Red Sox had awesome hitting. I'm a Mets fan and even tho they won just 63 games that year, 1979 was the first year when I really started following baseball

Wonder if it would be in the 1974-75 range with the As and Reds dominant teams - probably too close to 1969.

Other guess would be a season in the late 90s during the Yankees run.

I'd kind of like to see 1971, the first year of the two sided cards.

The next new player set will debut “very soon.” Any bets on the over/under by the end of 2022?
