Hey guys, to encourage and facilitate transactions between leagues, would you agree to decrease the penalty rate from 20% to the minimum possible (5% or at worst, 10%) ?

Hey guys, to encourage and facilitate transactions between leagues, would you agree to decrease the penalty rate from 20% to the minimum possible (5% or at worst, 10%) ?

Per Strat game rules, the options are:

Free Agent Drop Penalty
5/10/20% (default) - games 1-41: 5%, games 42-80: 10%, games 81+: 20%
10%
20%

We currently use the first one, which has a low penalty early on, but then a steep penalty later.

I would support changing to 10%, as a moderate penalty throughout the season.

Note: JF and I had worked out the salary cap portions of a deal, but both of us had filled our rosters up to the $110 mil cap and were unable to get around the 20% penalty, since we would have to drop the players in our separate leagues, in order to add new ones.

Congrats to JF on being the first team to get to 100 wins on the season.

Next closest is Padre, with 87. He'd be cruising to a title in 2 of the 3 leagues, but has the bad luck to be a distant second in the Premier one.

In all my years of Strat from the table top to computer i only had 1 hitter get (5) HR's in 1 game.

all 5 homeruns were "SOLO" shots.

He had hit 0 homeruns in his first 13 games....good way to break out and ended up hitting 64 hr's

Inaugural season -- the qualifying round for promotion & relegation -- is almost finished, so it's time to review the rules.

I'd like to propose 2 changes:

a) Update the roster rule to:
There will be a minimum of 25 carded players on each team, as required to join a Strat league at the start of a season.

b) Update the drop/add rule to:
Drops/adds are allowed within your own 32 players during the season, per game engine rules, with 10% penalty
