Half of managers have voted. Can we get some more votes?

a) Update the roster rules to:
- There will be a minimum of 25 carded players on each team, as required to join a Strat league at the start of a season.
- Each team may carry up to 7 non-carded players, including professional, collegiate, foreign, etc. They do not need to have been signed by an MLB team.

b) Update the drop/add rule to:
Drops/adds are allowed within your own 32 players during the season, per game engine rules, with 10% penalty

Please vote on a/b

1. tcochran - yes/yes
2. Terry101-yes/yes
3. jflatour99 - yes/yes
4. mesacat - yes/yes
5. lakeviewdave - no/no
6. paul j kiggins - no/no
7. oldmansmith2 - yes/yes

So far, 7 owners -- representing 9 teams -- have voted yes to both proposals.

3 more teams would take us to 12 out of 18 teams, and 3 more owners would take us to 10 out of 15 owners, for the standard 2/3 vote required to change the rules.

Roy F#cking Kent had a fine season, earning a well-deserved title in what had started as a 3-team race.

I vote yes/yes but with 8/10 voting yes it had already passed I think.

League is fun and different. Trades are a bit hard. But, maybe that can improve as we go along. I am just shocked I did so well considering I pretty much forfeited 3 picks in the draft (trading guys I picked in the teens for Round 30+ picks) due entering in the wrong salary cap. :shock:

Couple of notable facts about the Fremens (sorry but for me, this was a unique campaign statistically speaking and yeah, I know why, but still, pretty amazing):

- First, collectively: 128 - 34 + 660 Never done that ! Padre with an epic season in second place at 108 wins, 20 games back , what !?

- My MVP, Byron Buxton, who's know for his injuries risks and has a ''2'' rating had a league leading 679 ABs. He beat Hack Wilson with 198 RBI with 88 Moon Shots !!! In a way, I drafted him as my concession player because of his potential and the fact that he's not so old (unlike DeGrom);

- Tim Locastro; out of nowhere hit 55 HRs, 127 RBI, with a 1.070 OPS All this at only 6.58M

- A 1B/Dh trio (because of Moreland 8R and Dom Smith injuries: 2 times 15 games with a 1 rating and more):

Rhys Hoskins, Mitch Moreland and Dom Smith hit together in these 2 roles a combined: 110 HRs and 335 RBI;

- D.J. Lemahieu (.367, 133 RBI) and J.Iglesias (.361) competed all season long with Dom Smith and A. Kirk for the batting title

- Of these 434 HRs, 7 players hit 30 HRs or more, 5 player hit 40 HRs or more and 4 hit 50 HRs or more. Honorable mention to my 2.00 M$ Third baseman Nolan Arenado who hit 28 HR, 6 players at 100 RBI and more.

- 3 SP at 20 wins or more including a lately traded Ryu at 25 ! DeGrom did really well too but my 4th starter, Kyle Cody impressed at 18-4 / 2,98 / 1,23 Really impressed by Tanner Houck season as well for Padre

I think that Wil Myers and Higashioka could do even better in the next season and that Buxton will cool down a bit.

I could have go on with other pitching stats or collective stats like this .965 OPS but hey, I know this was an anormal setting. Just wanted to leave some kind of trace of this incredible season that I had the pleasure to monitor in the play by play each night with the same excitement.

Congrates to the Canberra Kookaburras on a great season and for letting the Gravediggers get close but shut the door down the stretch finishing 6 games ahead of the Cape Bear team.It was an interesting season in a different format and i think next year 100 win seasons will be tough in the top division.
MARCO GONZALES (17-7,3.21) lead the pitching staff and will look to lead the team in the 2nd season and beyond. Richard Rodriguez (3-1/2.87/43saves) captured the ROLAIDS FIREMAN RELIEF AWARD. The Gravediggers captured 3 Gold Gloves (SP) Gonzalez,(CF)Pillar and (SS) Crawford. 3B Jose Ramirez (.294/44/149) lead the Gravediggers in hitting.The pitching staff lead the league with a sparkling 1.18 WHIP and was 2nd in pitching era(3.75). Relief pitcher Jose Cisnero (8-0,2.56) appearing in 67 games was the best bang per buck @ 2.55 million.
Looking forward to next season
