I hear you, Bob. Not easy to trade the best player in the game. But, I inherited a very, very solid hitting team. But I had ZERO pitching. Urquidy was my ace. Not good. Keith had 3 teams worth of quality SP, and Trout was the only way to pry 4 of them loose.
I’m sure it looks like I overpaid. But without pitching it was just another mediocre season. And except for Stephenson, I had no place to play the other guys. And Keith drives a hard bargain.
So now, if I draft we’ll, I have a chance to be a playoff team. See you all in October!
