Speaking of (supposedly) faster:
Amount of actual playing time in a football game: 11 minutes.
Amount of actual playing time in a baseball game: 18.
Football survives (thrives) on gambling and high definition replays.
Although there's only 11 minutes of playing time, it gives the illusion of action by showing the same play 4 times from different angles and in slow motion.
The only time they show the huddle when they want to comment about how nice Tom Brady's teeth still look after all these years.
