The career historical disk Strat puts out has career averages and normalized ratings. It also has defensive ratings over the course of a career, which, as mentioned, results in folks like Rickey Henderson and Tim Raines being rated 4’s in the OF.:-/ Trammell is a 4 at SS.
I have used these disks a LOT in the past. I generate my player pool by rolling random years (the set denotes a player by their rookie year), then dump all the players from those years into the pool.
I’d be for it, but I would ask what the minimum number of PAs, IPs, seasons, etc would be to be included. I would think you wouldn’t want guys who played 1 or 2 seasons included.
