I joined TKL and one other keeper league in 2020. They are my first keeper leagues. I've done pretty well in some of the leagues I've subsequently joined, but I've made some absolute dog crap trades in TKL.
I traded Julio Rodriguez for Cody Bellinger.
I traded Jared Walsh to Champ for Nick Lodolo and a couple of picks.
I traded Yordan Alvarez to Champ for a bag of beat up fungo balls.
Champ, you're welcome!
(Actually, now that I've made the picks I got for Alvarez, it's not too bad - I got Bryan Reynolds, Tarik Skubal and Brusdar Graterol with the draft picks)
Hopefully this trade for Jonathan India is the first of what will be more equitable trades.
And hopefully the owners of the MLB teams will get their heads out of their rear ends and get the 2022 season started!!
Happy Spring, All!!!
I think I got ya Sean on the “dog crap trades in TKL”
if I wouldn’t have made a few head scratchers I’d be looking at a pretty good team for this upcoming season (year).
traded Gerrit Cole, Shohei Ohtani (MVP), Yuli Gurriel (Batting Champ), Bryce Harper (MVP) & 2022 1st rd FA & prospect picks.
that works out to two starting pitchers, two MVP’s & the AL BA champ
I’m not disappointed with the prospect haul in these trades……..Casas, Witt & Veen but that’s still a heavy price to pay considering the talent that was shipped out.
so everyone feel free to hit me up because it’s obvious I’m not afraid to make a lopsided trade in your favor
