Tournament Winner Prize

Our tournament winner prize has been increased a little. The winner will now receive the latest version of the Windows computer game and 10 additional team credits for Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365. The prize was previously the Windows game plus 5 credits.

This is great news. However, instead of adding 5 more credits to the winner, perhaps it would be better to spread those 5 extra credits out? Like 2 credits to the #1 ranked player after the "regular season" tournament and 2 extra to the finals runner up? Or award 2 of those extra credits to the team that finished with the best record in the 2000s (a little extra motivation to play hard through the end of the tournament)? I know it would be more difficult for SOM to administer, but it seems more fair to spread out the extra credits. 10 extra credits is a lot for being lucky enough to win the finals.
