Section 2.02    Only those players who were issued SOMO cards this year 2020 for 2019 season) are eligible for the inaugural draft. Unleashed cards are not permitted for the inaugural draft.

to me that reads "inaugural draft"...nothing about subsequent years. to me thats says unleashed players are available ...just my 2 cents.

Paul see Rule 9.01(d), it says unleashed players are ineligible to be signed as FA's.

It’s been quite busy at work these past few weeks. I’ll get your answers, although everything I’ve read seems to be correct. The arb salary settlements will be ready shortly after the cards are released.

The roster sheet is now up to date. I have settled all arbitration cases and added prospects to your team sheets and roster pages. I will be posting the top 50% and top 25% salaries on the Contract Thread.

@Chilliards: You can cut Garneau and add Chance Sisco from the waiver wire. I don't believe Viloria is carded this year. You will have to carry Garneau's salary for the year.

is this defined anywhere in rules, I am struggling to find it

Garneau was signed prior to being designated unleashed....cannot find any unleashed rule other than initial draft and FA signing

if forfeiture of my player is intact, why replaced with worst player available?

If we draft before cards come out, as we did and have done, then we bear the risk that some small sample size God is issued an unleashed card and is ineligible. Which is necessary to prevent unrealistic outcomes.

I'm still interested in talking trade if folks are down for it!
