Would love to get in on the trading action. Freddie Freeman is still available (as is appropriate I guess given his FA status). I'd be looking for an ace SP in return to pair next to Woodruff atop my rotation. Also looking for RP help for this year.

Additionally, Jameson Taillon SP (2M, decent projections for this year) is available for a draft pick or along with Aroldis Chapman for an RP upgrade.

If I begin a trade conversation with you and for some reason you become offended by my offer please know that I am not a lowballer. It is so difficult to know what each team is looking for and also very difficult for two different people to value players the same. I might really like a guy I own but you may have a completely different view of that player. The hope is that there is some back and forth to figure things out or decide that we are not a good match. This message is because I have sent two trade discussions out and havent heard a peep after days. So please dont be offended if you dont like the attempt at a discussion.

I am planning on putting things together this weekend and getting information/timelines out to everyone as soon as possible.

I have two questions, and they are perhaps related:

1) If I have a non-carded prospect who is out of my two year window of player control, do I have to promote him to be one of my 30 player slots or let him go back into the prospect pool? If I promote him, does he count as one of my 20 keepers?

2) If I have a player on my major league roster that I want to keep, but he sucked in 2021, so his card is terrible; can I keep him on my 30 man roster, but NOT keep his card on my roster in-league? And he is protected from anyone else adding him off waivers during the season?
