Confirmed. I will still be dropping Kluber and Greinke; my drop post is edited and correct. Chris - I apologize for the incorrect trade post - I had given Jim some incorrect information, which is why he held up. It was my error.
My drops are almost ready to go. One question I have is: do I need to promote/drop my prospects that have a year of prospect eligibility left but played in the MLB this last year.
Our league rules read under the Prospect Draft rules: 3. Prospect Eligibility: A prospect is defined as any player that has signed a contract with an MLB organization but has no MLB game experience prior to the start of the current MLB season.
The league rules also read: 3. Owners control the rights of their prospects for no longer than 2 years. At the end of 2 years (from time of draft) a prospect must either be promoted to the MLB roster or released.
It sounds to be I don't have to promote the prospects for another year, but I just wanted to confirm.
You have 2 that must be promoted or cut...Tarik Skubal and Brailyn Marquez
I'm sure if you cut them, Sean will be sending you a trade offer
