For this league, it doesn't matter who they have signed with it just matters who they are carded to. Like with Kyle Schwarber I can't keep him because he was carded to Boston in the AL even though this off season he signed back with an NL club.

Understood, but he was only an AL player last year, and so, if he were to have pitched enough innings to have a card in this year's set, it would be an AL card. I didn't think it would matter who he signed with for this season becasue the game is played one year in arrears.

Not likely to be an issue, at O'Day's advanced age, etc. But it sets a precedent. I mean, why can't we keep prospects that are traded to an AL organization, since they might still have their first card for an NL team if they get traded again...
