Still, they DID post them, and the help page as it reads now explicitly claims that the 365 engine is essentially the same as the Windows engine, and that card results are only altered by max rules. And nothing I've seen in this thread or in the leagues I've been in has made me think that the help page is lying about that.

Essentially the same....not exactly the same...

re MAX rules, who has the guts to test out throttling, by dropping a hitter when he is on pace for 80 HR's at the all star break if he is on a 40 HR card. he's due to cool off right?

i can say for sure, i have had many players on pace to crush their triples total only to go without one for the last 54 games of the season and end very close to their card's total. but hopefully they still get singles out of these rolls!

i feel like Starters who are hot out of the gate with ERA and Wins seem to come back to earth. Same with Relievers who are crushing it with ERA.

all that said, with the exception of the triples (hmmm?), i'd say this is just randomness and the probabilities catching up with you over 162 games.

...and then they go on to explain the differences between Windows and 365 (bullpen logic and substitution logic are different). You guys should really read the help pages sometime, it would clarify a lot of this stuff for you.

MAXPOWER--

of course we had read the help pages.

of course we have heard from several reputable pro owners, that they have been told by Bernie and STRAT, that there are "black box" factors, and that STRAT is not going to reveal what they are and how they function.

Of course You continue to respond to owners providing information about irregular results as if each one is an isolated incident that is just a random burp, when most of this information is based on significant repeating data that owners have been accumulating and tracking over a long period of time.

Of course, as STRAT has admitted that they have used normalization factors before, there is no reason to doubt that they are using new ones, especially given the repeating patterns of irregularities.
