His 1876 card is an NL Cubs card and would be. His other cards are American Association.

thanks. he was the founder of Spaulding Sporting Goods, which I knew, but never knew he was an accomplished player. thought he was an HOFer as a pioneer of the game/executive. He's credited with starting the widespread use of the Glove and wrongly giving credit to Abner Doubleday as the originator of baseball. definitely worth of a card
