My final ruling on whether we do or do not have to cover your picks in drafts is WE DO. My explanation for that is because the number of roster openings prior to the FA draft is the sole determiner of how many draft picks we each get. Of course that number can fluctuate within a draft due to trades made concurrent with the draft. What does not fluctuate is the exact one to one relationship between roster openings and draft picks. That goes for the Free Agent Draft as well as the Prospect draft. In other words there is no "+1" relationship between roster openings and draft picks. For example you cannot have 10 roster openings and 11 draft picks. Doesn't work that way.

Anyhow, I'll put the above paragraph in the Rules.

Guys, I'm going to allow free trading of prospect picks. In other words you don't need to have prospect openings on your team to fit in your trades. I've come to the conclusion that it's just too cumbersome to import the rule regarding coverage of traded picks in FA to the Prospect picks realm. Main reason being that with much fewer draft-able rounds in prospect drafts - for late round draft picks especially - can make it very difficult in trying to keep all your picks. In other words the penalties (having to cut owned prospects and/or trim your available prospect picks - later on to cover those trades) involved in keeping the prospect draft in trade coverage status just isn't practical IMO. Too much fuckin work!

If I didn't explain that well enough all you need to know is you may trade all prospect picks without worry of having to cover for them during the draft. This keeps everything as it is. No changes to the prospect draft at this time.
