Kind of seems like maybe don't release new game code on Friday and then leave for the weekend though. :)

BINGO!
I would guess their use cases are pretty well established by now. But it sounds like their test cases and test verification need a little more polish than just double locking the door before leaving for the weekend.

I have to say, when I ran a s/w engineering branch it would drive me nuts when guys would say "it's just a parameter file change, do I really need to produce the artifacts and go through peer review?"

Well, only if you want it to work as intended.

It definitely seemed and seems it was an honest mistake, but at least there was some increased transparency with the latest post.

It is really sad how they don't have anybody around on the weekends. I am glad they don't run something important.

I am satisfied with their explanation and their offer of credits to those who can show they missed the playoffs. Both seem reasonable. Will be interesting to learn how they address the Tour. It is ridiculous that no one is in on the weekends though. Just a bit more effort to passably resemble a modern business would go a long way.

That's true--it is an online simulation and e-commerce model. Heck I'd be managing it 24/7--from Bonaire!
