Thanks for call out pushpin. Stars have definitely aligned for this team more than any other I’ve had. A lot of card luck with pitching in top cards for Carpenter and Lowe as well as strong cards for Putz, Beck and White. On offense, Bonds is amazing. Piazza is in his 2nd or 3rd best card while Thome is on his worst. Giles may be in his second worst, that’s a tough read at this point. The key has been hitting on a lot of lower value guys as well as getting some clarity early on who I needed to cut. Hopefully I haven’t jinxed myself and I do have a lot of games remaining in division where it appears some of the leagues stronger teams reside. Regardless I am hoping for a big win number by year end.

OM_G. At the 3/4 mark in the season Gritch's team is 96-27 with a +382 run differential. Bonds already has 87 home runs! Starters Carpenter and Lowe have ERA and WHIP of 2.55/1.01 and 2.77/0.95 and the top 3 relievers have WHIPs of 1.06, 0.93, and 0.90. The second place team in the division has a very nice record of 69-54 but is 27 games back. Oh, and Gritch's team is currently on a 16 game win streak.

It has been fun to watch from the outside, as this is a season to remember for any of us. Though certainly his division mates are bruised and have had their ceilings capped by having to play him more.

What is interesting from a roster build perspective is that gritch was easily able to roster Bonds without really sacrificing roster spots to do so, finding value throughout, especially in the pen. He might have thought his December team with Bonds was great, but this is going to challenge Jomboy78’s variant. (EDIT: I am referencing the record books here - gritch had a great Bonds season in December, and Jomboy78 has the best one on record....so far.)

No shortage of fun facts in Gritch’s dominance, here’s another: His team has dominated so completely that only two other teams in the league have a positive run differential, and one of those two teams is barely above even at just +2.

Gritch bought the team but this Marvin Dorfler is amazing. I haven't seen a Coach "matriculate" a team down the field like this since Hank Stram.

Congrats to @gritch who finished the task and smashed the wins record for the 00s by 10 wins (122)!

It would appear that Gritch now has the most wins in a season by a team across all the mystery sets.

I just happened to check his stats as he's #1 at the moment. 354 HRs, 110 for Bonds? One Hundred and Ten!!???!!

55 more for Piazza. A team OPS over .900?

Good Grief.

And an eight-game sweep in the playoffs.

When did it stop seeming true, and more simply surreal?
