Random Stadium Shuffle League (RSSL) Full And running

PostTue Apr 26, 2022 6:03 am

Looking for a new manager for season #4. Each year, random stadiums are assigned, and we draft from a "Shuffle the Deck" pool of 1,000 players. New manager will use Jacobs Field 1999 Grass 43,345 14 14 9 9. I will send invite code when we have a recruit.

Here is our league chat (rules and such on page 1): viewtopic.php?f=11&t=650511&hilit=RSSL

It's also the only game in town. Random KEEPERS has all but shut down.

This is a great continuing league with a great group of managers. Random sets so no more of the usual suspects find new players to use. League is locked and loaded just looking for manager

Honestiago. Do you still need another manager for the league?

Please advise. Also to confirm, I can pick my two keepers right?

LJs, this is not a keeper league, random ballpark assignments and a random shuffle (different every iteration) of 1000 players. You have to put a new team together every season and you may or may not find a guy you had last season.

We do need a manager. However, it is not a keeper league. As mykee explained, the player pool is randomized every season. Cap is always 80M. Odd number seasons are DH.

League DOES use the same type of stadium "Lot" system. Currently, we have an opening. The currently assigned park for that opening is Jacobs Field 1999 Grass 43,345 14 14 9 9.

Honestiago,

My mistake, I was following the RANDOMINATION thread rules and responded to this league's invite by mistake. Regardless, the concept sounds interesting, so I joined the league this afternoon. My understanding is I am assigned Jacobs Field 1999 so this is the park I choose.

Let me know if I need any other information to proceed but should be able to navigate the league and rules from here.

I think you got it, man. RSSL is a lot simpler, and much closer to the first Randomination league I ran. I formed the KEEPERS league when we had that period where we couldn't shuffle the deck. Now that we can, I'm hoping we can run through every list I have (which is something like 16, I think, not counting unused, which would be cycled in as the very last Lot). It's been interesting. I haven't really gotten anything I'm used to playing (though, to be fair, I don't stick with any single park - I suck at them all equally).:-)
