22.2 Nominations are Open!

PostWed Jun 01, 2022 8:22 am

Greetings,

We are now taking nominations for the 22.2 card add.

Please note our usage parameters for nominations -
Minimums:
300 PA
100 IP Starters (S or S/R)
50 IP Relievers

Please note:
All AL/NL cards from 1871-2019 are eligible per Strat (Note: They are working on adding more Negro League cards to the ATG set, but not via our process at this time)

Our 22.2 parameters are as follows.
1. One nomination per member only
2. When we hit 42 unique nominations we will begin voting (after Andy posts card analysis)
3. We will have one poll of 50 cards; the top 25 will be added
4. Next "x" highest vote getters will get another shot in 22.3

Please submit nominations in a 'Year Player Team Position Comments' format.

To be included in the 22.2 poll -
2002 Alex Rodriguez TEX SS 35
1916 Rube Marquard LHP 33
2013 Yasiel Puig, Dodgers RF 33
2007 Jorge Posada Yankees C 32
1905 Andy Coakley PHA RHP 31
2019 Juan Soto WASH LF 30
2005 Richie Sexson SEA 27
2017 Nelson Cruz. DH/RF 24

1. 2005 Andy Pettitte HOU SP-7* 2L 17-9 2.39era 1.03whip 222ip 171k cya-5 mvp-24. Pettitte's best card. Only ATG card is the 1997 5R version.

2. 2009 Huston Street COL P. 3.06ERA 0.91WHIP 35Saves and huge K numbers vs righties. The Rockies have a lack of quality arms in ATG and a strong bullpen arm would be a big help. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/90569/2009/1/2009
