Youve been saying that you've used the stats from leagues played-
is that not the case?

This is what you said on the other thread- thats not JUST seeing what players got drafted-
so which is it?

"that the primary purpose of the scraped data was to customize my wOBA coefficients"

Okay yes, true, there were three things I used the data for: (1) determining the average runs per game at each cap, (2) determining how ballparks affect the runs per game, (3) card popularity a.k.a. how often players are drafted. (3) seemed to be the most controversial for some reason so I thought maybe you were misunderstanding that part. But you're right that I did more than *just* (3).

Looks to me as though it isn’t even how often they are drafted. The data looks at the final roster or final stats. So it tells you how often they were used. It doesn’t tell you who was on an autodraft card much less what order. Someone could have missed all 25 guys on their draft card. They could have dropped multiple players between the draft and the start of the season.

Exactly so, that is a more precise way of putting it. Not frequency of being drafted, but rather frequency of being on a roster after the freeze. But, no reason to think those two things aren't highly correlated, when thinking in terms of a card's popularity.

The larger point to keep in mind for the paranoiacs is that the manager who rosters the player is not even logged, that is not something I ever tracked. All the database tells us is that a player was rostered x % of the time, not who rostered him.
