Meanwhile Semper is cruising into the playoffs with the best record in the league!

Hard to do when my division opponents do not know when it is time to quit beating me up.

Yeah, they've been doing a good job against you. In the meantime we picked a very good time to get hot. It's not over yet, but we're in pretty good shape. Still, with three against Stoney at home before finishing with six on the road we're not counting our chickens just yet.

Milleram has 2 game lead over toshiro and 3 over Randal. His record is tied with Randal (6-6) I don't know the run diff and he's one game down to toshiro (10-11) with 3 to play tonight.

toshiro is up a game on Miller and has the tie breaker. Four up on Big A and Randal

Home field Race

JTJ is up 3 on Jeep and 5 on Semper but doesn't have the tiebreaker with either. both Jeep and JTJ are on the road the rest of the way while Semper is at home.

Ray is replaced after 7 no-hit innings ......

Yeha, 5 sr guys will only pitch 7. Period. Dumb, but that's what they have programmed.

Of course, maybe not so dumb. Kershaw got pulled with a no-no earlier this year.

So, for the playoffs, I don't need to worry about throwing a scrub starter right? My number one will be available to pitch in game 1 if he throws in the next to last game?

A SP pitching in Game 161 will be able to start Game 2 at the earliest. With the off days during the Series, any three SPs will be able to pitch two games each.

The kids did alright despite several sage moves by very tough divisional foes. I barely survived the divisional gauntlet- my hats off to the boys in the Central.

Divisions are decided, but still issues to be resolved....

WC race is still up for grabs, tied with three to play. toshiro has the tiebreaker however so the pressure is on Milleram.

JTJ will be home for the playoffs, but opponent is still tbd. Jeep is up 2 on Semper but doesn't have the tiebreaker. Two wins or two Semper losses (or combo of both) puts him in against the WC winner and sends Semper to play jtj.
