30 Games Below .500. How is this possible!?!

Can someone explain to me after drafting 5 seemingly good SP and a decent lineup that I'm 30 games below .500 and have a -104 run diff.

You are in a bombers park and you are being out bombed by 50. Bauer isn't good in this park. You also only have 1 decent reliever. Having 3 .5 relievers is a recipe for disaster. You need at least 3 innings per game from your bullpen with all starters being either S6 or S5.

I have a team that is wrapped up in a very bad algorithm myself and started a thread on it called misery loves company.

bottom line is although i cannot say i would have built my team exactly the way you did....there is NO WAY you should be playing .350 pct baseball.

There is an issue with the algorithm....one of the characteristics i see from it is a key player consistently getting hurt regardless of injury rating.

I have seen this happen time and time again, and although i am winning titles at a good rate, I dont like what i am seeing on the online game and I am about ready to pull the plug on this experience.

Next time take some $'s from your SP's and put it into your pen. Given his low IP's, I'm guessing you have Jansen listed only as Closer. He should be also be a Setup guy so he can get more work.

Also, if you are going to play in Great American (18 - 18), it's Bombs Away time. At the end of the season you want to have 300+ HR's from your guys. You are on pace for 236.

I haven't looked at your league or your division. One huge problem is that RP specialists do not work in 20XX league since the rule change RPs must finish an inning. Your specialists are getting destroyed. As mentioned earlier your defense is non-existent. Also note you are getting beaten badly in BP homerun chances and double plays.

Since 2020 under a new rule, pitchers who enter a game must face at least three batters, unless the inning ends

So wasting time on a Lefty or Righty specialist isn't worthwhile in 2020 on.
