Could package a couple in right deal, like a closer + position player.

Looking for players, upgraded FA/prospect picks, many things.

As far as an "incentive" package to fill open team, I could see something like the following:

Drop as many players as they want
Extra FA pick at end of 2,4,6,8,10, then at end of draft enough picks to fill 40-man roster
Extra prospect pick at end of rounds 1,2
Extra supplemental pick at end of rounds 1,2

Just my opinion on this though. Too much, too little? Not sure, this team has some pieces to trade to rebuild for future, sure its going to take 2 years but we have all been there at one time or another.

I agree this would not be a terrible team to rebuild. I have a couple of teams in that condition right now in other leagues, with high hopes for the 2022 or 2023 card sets.

The challenge is that nobody has committed to staying with the team since CATom destroyed it. The team has had only 1 winning season since 2011 and has burned through 6 managers in the past 12 seasons.

Question for Jerlins, as an impartial observer: What would it take to encourage you to grab this fixer-upper?

I think both teams value each other. In both cases, there's some tradable material for conterders to help building.

We've really seen worse.

And if we add a couples of bonus (like Lakeview proposed), I think that's appealing to anybody who want to join a nice keeper ligue like ours.
