Saboteurs R Us-The conclusion

When I select a hitter for another team...where can the hitter be inserted into the line-up? Do they have to play a position (outside of DH), if there is more than one position listed...does the player need to play their primary position or any position listed on their card?

The way I read the rules it is the plate appearances that are the important parts. I don’t think we are required to play them at their primary position. Correct me if I’m wrong Joe.
