Coming to the end of the tournament

Congrats to the teams that won their Round 1 league! Special mention to KAD1988 who had a Round 1 high 129 points thanks to a 114 win regular season and a 15 point total for winning his league championship. Round 2 Semi-finals are 4 games in now as well, with the Round 3 regular season finishing up this week.

Just a reminder that when the Round 3 playoffs conclude, the top 12 move on to the championship round. Divisions are determined by ranking, but other than that it is the same as the leagues were for the first 3 rounds. The top 12 will need to load their teams in the final league between about August 11th and August 13th. Stay tuned here for updates as we get close to those dates!

Not 100% sure, but with the Round 2 Finals and Round 3 playoffs left my calculations show there is only 1 spot open with 3 managers in play. With up to 20 points on the line, the rankings of the top 11 is far from final.
barmorris holds the last spot at 282 points. He made the Round 3 playoffs as a filler so his total is final.
Either dorb at 274 and rickburr at 273 could take the 12th spot by winning a Round 3 title and the 10 point bonus.

Is this correct?

I was just looking at the standings and I got the same analysis. Those 2 are literally in win or go home mode. Dorb would edge out rickburr if both won.

Is it too late to declare my filler team as the one that counts?

With dorB being eliminated, the only left to be determined is the 12th and final spot. If rickburr can win the championship in Round #3 League #3 he will move on to the final 12. If not, barrmorris moves on.

rickburr has taken a 3-1 series lead in the Round #3 League #3 championship. Once this series is over we will know our final 12 teams, but we'll have to wait until games are played Wednesday night to see our final 12 rankings which will determine the divisions for the final round.
