In one of the more improbable innings I've ever seen, I scored 8 runs in one inning despite getting caught stealing home twice. It might have been cooler had it been Ricky twice, but both Tim Raines and Ricky Henderson got gunned down trying to steal home in the 8th inning here:

This team was 12 for 36 in stealing home attempts. It certainly hurt the team, but I don't think _that_ much frankly. I wonder what the value of guy at 3rd is (in all the various scenarios) vs. a 33% chance at a run? Probably better than 1/3 of a run, but not all that much more and with a small sample size like that it might have cost me well under 10 runs for sure--I'm guessing more like 5?.
Still absolutely absurd that I attempted 36 steals of home. There really should be a "don't steal home" strategy checkbox.
