Catcher Injury question....

PostTue Oct 11, 2022 6:25 pm

Is it necessary to carry three catchers on a team? It looks like most teams on leagues dont. I realize that a lot of the catchers have #2 injury ratings. Eventually they will get injured during the season. Only a matter of time.

When one of the two catchers goes down does HAL have a heart not to injure the other catcher at or close to the same time as the one down already? Thanks everyone

HAL will not let your last healthy catcher get injured. So-- generally speaking-- you never want a third catcher on your roster.

The exception being the last healthy catcher can get injured during a game. A non-catcher will be inserted for the remainder of that game. That injury will not continue the following game.
