League#1 2022 Semi-Finals Draft; Concluded

I am confused. What is the advantage to defer your park? Why not pick stadium with your 3rd player like milleram did?

Some think it's a disadvantage to let others know what park you picked before they pick theirs.

Here is what it says in the rules -

Players will have the option in Round 3 to defer their ballpark pick if anyone feels there is an advantage to picking last so in essence the top seed could be last to select a ballpark, 2nd could be last or just before(depending on whether top seed waited etc

I still think all managers are supposed to pick, they can just defer it essentially into a 4th round in reverse order, meaning anyone that doesn't pick a stadium in round 3 has to pick one in round 4, which would be just for those managers that deferred. It just gives them a chance to see the stadium picked by others before choosing theirs. I agree - not sure I see the point of the complication, but it was noted in the rules.
