I noticed that in the past draft there were some teams picking players in the 11th round. If we are required to keep 18 of the 28 players on our rosters, why would there be more than 10 rounds of picks, excepting the stadium picks.

I noticed that in the past draft there were some teams picking players in the 11th round. If we are required to keep 18 of the 28 players on our rosters, why would there be more than 10 rounds of picks, excepting the stadium picks.

If someone trades a draft pick, then they would need an 11th round pick to get to their 28 players (if they dropped 10 players).
