used to happen to me often...found out in my case it was because the boards are non-secure/non-https (ie not encrypted) and my network did not like that. And neither do I, but I just switched it so I get a warning instead of a disconnect when it drops out of https.
I brought this up a while ago that even though the boards are 100% non-secure http, the main game site is https but sometimes drops out of secure. Curiously, when it does drop out of non-secure mode, it is exclusively when I save a lineup, save a draft card, or make a live draft pick.
Bugged me for years. BTW--non-secure http means the data between their server and your client is pretty much open to the world. not a big deal...unless maybe it is a credit card or something...
BTW--it costs next to nothing to simply install an SSL cert for the boards. Not sure why they haven't, nor why the main site drops SSL. Maybe an expert netadmin like Moose would have an opinion or correction
