Is there a tendency toward multiple injuries - same player?

Maybe I am susceptible to conspiracy theories, but maybe there is a tendency for the same player to get injured over and over in the season. I’d like to hear from players: once a player gets one injury are you more likely to drop him because you anticipate future injuries?

It does seems that way, but it can all be attributed to pure randomness.

Here's an example how weird randomness is. Let's say you have a room of 30 random people. What would you guess the odds that at least two people in the room share the same birthday? Believe it or not, is about 70 percent. With 57 people, it's almost certain.

my Honus Wagner has been injured 5 times in 54games so I wonder the same thing I still kept him

I have had the 12.43m version of Hornsby injured six times in ninety games--I know it's just bad luck, but highly irritating.

I had Mickey Cochrane’s 1929 card get hurt over and over continually in one season recently. A total of 60 games in one season. Ridiculous
