Ray's team is in now and I will set the Premier Div to start on 11/3, just like the others, after the Strat draft runs tonight.

Actually, I cannot do that. The commish role passed to Paul J, when I exited the league to start another.

Paul, please edit the league settings to move the start date to 11/3.

Thanks!

HI!

Luis Gil is up for trade. Pretty decent starter. Looking to next year.

The Atreides have 10 million to spend and Jack Leiter or Gabriel Moreno that could be had in a deal.

I'm looking to improve at 3B mainly. Could also use help at catcher or SP (Eovaldi).

Here's a mid-season review across the divisions, for those who don't routinely look at all of them...

PREMIER

padrenurgle1 at 54 wins and jflatour99 at 52 have a great pennant chase going on in the Premier division. They are also #1 and #2 in both the team hitting and team pitching stats, by quite a margin.

The teams have very different styles, though, with Padre having a big lead in hits at 714 and JF having a big lead in home runs at 179.

Individually, Harper, Buxton, and Acuna all have OPS over 1.000, while Schwarber leads in HR at 30. Turnbull has the top W/L record at 10-3, while deGrom leads in individual stats with an ERA of 2.31 and WHIP of 0.79. Kittredge is the top closer, with 24 saves.

AAA

There is a more balanced race in the AAA division, with my guys at 50 wins and jodynadu's at 49, running neck and neck. padrenurgle1 and jmlopp are also having winning seasons and could easily move to the top of the table, too.

My guys lead in both team hitting (696 hits, including 191 HR) and team pitching, although once again, the competition is pretty tight there, too.

Tatis and Schwindel have OPS over 1.000, and Zunino (!) leads in HR at 32. Suarez has the top W/L record at 9-3, while Woodruff leads in ERA at 2.30 and Kershaw in WHIP at 0.99. Hader is the leading closer, with 19 saves.

AA

jflatour99 at 47 wins and ironwill1 at 46 have a great race going on in the AA division.

JF's team has a significant lead in hitting (664 hits, including 159 HR), while ironwill1's leads in pitching by a wide margin.

For the first time, batters have not had a field day in AA this season, as only Trout has OPS over 1.000. Keeping up with the pattern of slugging catchers, though, Garneau leads in HR at 26. Flexen has the best W/L record at 8-2 and leads in ERA at 2.75. Rodon leads in WHIP at 0.94, while Reyes has the most saves at 28.

Of special note, Reyes has the most saves of any player in any of the divisions, and has achieved that with an ERA of 5.50 and WHIP of 1.57. How can that even be possible?!?

I won't be back. Have some personal items ongoing and don't have the time to dedicate to the league. Thanks for having me and Happy Holidays.

I would take on Paul's team assuming we are still in separate divisions going forward.

Thanks! At the moment, it looks like Paul's team is likely to be relegated from Premier to AAA, while your current team will remain in AA -- so that should work out fine, for you to take over Paul's team next season :D
